Join us for a 4-day experience of Communion with Land, Body, Village and Spirit
LGBTQ+ and Neurodiverse friendly & facilitated.
We know all too well that many folks seeking Communion have felt on the outside of traditional “wellness” or “spiritual” spaces.
The very places meant to point you back to the goodness of your True Nature did the very opposite– causing you to filter, fragment, edit & hold back your fullness.
Immersed in Communion with Land, Body, Village & Spirit for 4 days, you might find yourself:
- Experiencing inner calm and stability in a time of collective upheaval
- “Queering” your healing process by embodying a non-binary, spiralic, evolutionary & process-oriented relationship to healing.
- Embodying your dignity & a stronger sense of Self
- Living from Wholeness having felt inner marriage from reclaiming all parts of Self.
- Anchored in a praxis of love, communion & belonging
- Fully alive– with more capacity & skill for the full range of your humanity
- At home with your body's natural rhythms & Blueprint
- Clearer, having recognized & released patterns that no longer serve you
- Following the emergent parts of Self from a newfound place of trust
- Leaving with practical & personal rituals that ground you
- More alive, joyous & free having encountered your Essence
- Developing right-relationship to your body, nature, others & to life
- Finding home in yourself– a secure attachment, knowing your place among all things
- Awakened to the imaginal space, the center of possibility in the cave of your heart
- Understanding your role in the more beautiful world you want to create
Let go of old forms & discover the shape of your authentic Self.

This retreat is perfect for you if…
- You are curious about somatic healing & embodiment
- You desire personal practices for collective liberation
- Have felt pushed out of traditional spiritual spaces due to having expansive identities, ideas, or interests

Know & Trust your place among all things
What is the retreat format?
Designed to meet all parts of your humanity, Communion offers you opportunities to have firsthand experience of your wholeness through–
- The Somatic Experience - with daily elemental yoga flows, nourishing, organic meals, dance and nature bathing, you’ll become a living embodiment of Sacred teachings.
- The Well of the Heart - with daily ceremony, simple ritual, altar building and shamanic drum journeying, envisioning your role in a more beautiful world.
- Sacred Circle - Honing your relationship to Self through gentle inventory of what’s ready to be released, while allowing yourself to be witnessed in new ways– cultivating a strong Self in the presence of others.
Each day will be based on a different element, the building blocks of reality: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Each element will be a catalyst for all rituals, facilitated circles, guided movement, and ceremonies.
Communion is informed by 30+ years combined experience studying Sacred Teachings including Christian mysticism, Tantric Yoga, Developmental Movement, Alchemical Alignment Somatic Trauma Resolution, the 12 Step program, Shamanism and Fourth Way practices, this retreat aims to be a bridge– re-tethering you to your inherent belonging, dignity and sacredness.

In a time of fear, isolation & separateness— Communion is the antidote.
Hi! We are Madison & Jayme.
If you’re anything like us, you’re trying to live into a new way of being– dreaming up new worlds as the old systems crumble beneath us. Being neck deep studying ancient wisdom traditions, we know that times of upheaval are the most potent times to anchor in new realities, ones of justice, love, belonging and communion.
The dreams of our colleagues, clients and communities are often the same: create a more beautiful world.
The reality, however, is ever more challenging as fear breeds separateness, divisiveness and fragmentation.
Many who hope for a new reality don’t have the skills, stability or embodied practice to go in a new way – we sure didn’t! While we don’t have all the answers, we are devoted to living, practicing and serving our way into a new reality where all of us can live and thrive in our innate dignity, wholeness & belonging.
Being queer, neurodivergent and with developmental trauma, we did not have the skills, sense of belonging or stability required to live out our dreams. Spiritual spaces did not always welcome our fullness, and our families could not hold us.
Communion is born of the many years seeking, failing, forgiving and healing as we individually found our way.
We have discovered that true Communion requires inner stability, a strong sense of Self & a willingness to show up imperfectly, deeply honest & incessantly hopeful about what's possible. Only through this can we experience Communion with All That Is.
If you’re looking for a place to listen to and embody the dream on your heart, join us at Communion as we reconnect to Body, Land, Village & Spirit.

Madison
(she/they)
Madison Morrigan is an award-winning leadership and somatic coach, writer, and podcaster. Her private practice supports people to navigate post-traumatic growth, shame resilience, and build internal safety. She holds a degree in interpersonal communication and psychology, and certifications in conflict resolution, mediation, coaching, yoga, and somatic trauma work. Currently apprenticing as a Shamanic Practitioner, her approach blends ritual, self-inquiry, and somatic practices to help folks with “muchness” access their dignity and wholeness.
A natural question-asker from childhood, Madison was the youngest female black belt in Hapkido by 13 and has always carried a fierce drive and curiosity. She’s lived through high control religion, a divorce, a late-in-life coming out, and an autism diagnosis—all of which have shaped her commitment to authentic, unconventional living. Today she lives in intentional community and spends her time dancing to pop music, hiking the Ozarks with her girlfriend, and writing from the heart.
Jayme
(she/they)
Jayme’s teaching draws on a rich well of experience to offer yoga that is both deeply reverent and refreshingly real. She designs immersive containers where movement, mantra, breath, and rest become tools for remembering wholeness. Her classes are trauma-informed, seasonally attuned, and guided by human development, all rooted in the belief that practice should nourish our sacred humanness rather than override it. Before settling into life at the Circle Yoga Shala, she spent years living in intentional spiritual communities and training as a professional athlete—two paths that profoundly shaped her relationship to discipline, devotion, and embodied truth. Through her experience in personal recovery, she has developed an approach that is practical yet poetic, bridging the mystic teachings of yoga with the real work of surrender and forgiveness.
Jayme is a Certified Yoga Therapist, an eRYT 500 yoga teacher trainer, and a former high-level strength coach. She holds an MBA in sustainable development and a bachelor’s degree in media sales and management.
“Madison’s retreat last year was truly life-shifting. It helped me rewrite old stories about who I was and what was possible for me. The community space she created felt healing, supportive, and deeply nourishing. I left feeling renewed in my sense of purpose and grounded in rituals I now carry into my everyday life. The experience was intentional, deep, and delightfully playful. Madison’s attention to detail and care is impeccable — I felt truly seen, held, and nourished. I absolutely cannot wait to return.”
-Christina
“I’ve gotten so many reminders of what I can do to make my life so much better. I’m so inspired for my practice now. I feel like all my sharp edges got sanded down and it is more comfortable just inhabiting my body physically, psychologically, and emotionally. I’m so grateful, and I’m so interested in learning more of this foundation of the elements and to continue to have this space together to unlearn bad habits again and again.”
-Mick
"Attending last year's retreat was a deeply nourishing experience—one that brought parts of myself forward, that for too long have been forced into the background of my life. Doing this alongside others seeking their authentic selves allowed my hidden parts to feel safe being seen. Through guided ceremonies, somatic practices, and elemental rituals, I found myself peeling back layers of old stories and old longings and reconnecting to something ancient and true within me. This was met and attuned to by the ancient wisdom of the land we gathered upon, something I don’t yet fully understand but am now curious about constantly. This retreat wasn’t just a pause from everyday life; it was a remembering, a return, and a new beginning."

“I see myself as good and valid & no longer live from shame of my neurodivergence. I feel self-compassion, love, and I’ve gotten to know my Unique Essence– I no longer label myself as shameful, wrong or bad.”
Lauren S.
“This work has allowed me to drop into my internal wisdom for healing and wholeness. The gentleness and spaciousness of the process has allowed hidden and shamed parts of me to emerge to the surface and bloom in their own time. I have built a secure foundation for my desires to be planted internally and to grow at a sustainable pace rather than huge expansions and then collapsing into shame.”
